Welcome  to the Royal Bighorn Lodge. Mid July is here and the weather has been very nice, in the mid 80's. The river has dropped to 3800cfs as of July 17th, a 2000cfs drop in 2 days. The fishing has been good but the trout are on the move due to the falling water levels. The PMD's are starting to hatch on the lower river and just a few small trout are feeding on them. Over the next few days the larger trout should start keying in on the adult PMD's. The river is in great shape and the fish have been gorging themselves over the last month of high water.
